A couple of quick photo tips and definitions before you start your hunt:

  1. RULE OF THIRDS – The rule of thirds states to divide your frame into thirds both horizontally and vertically. Then place your object close to one of the intersecting points. Most cameras have a grid view that you can look through as well. See example below:

2. LEADING LINES – Use lines in nature or architecture to lead into your subject. Lines are everywhere. Just look for repetitive patterns around you. Also, leading lines could be curvy, diagonal or straight up and down.
