Jeff & Lesleigh were married on September 7th, 2013 at the Farmers Branch Historical Park. I love getting to know different couples and what they have gone through before they find each other. Jeff & Lesleigh had been through a lot before they met and their love together made them even better. I could relate to this couple so much on so many levels including my own marriage. When you find the one that makes your life complete, it is truly a blessed thing. I am not talking about the kind of love that is dependent on another for happiness. But, a true partnership where your differences teach each other to be your best. I got to spend some time with the couple and really get to know them before their big day on their engagement shoot in Deep Ellum. I could tell that theirs was this type of love.
On wedding day, it was so cute because all day Lesleigh was so anxious to see Jeff. They are the best of friends and I know that they will continue to put God first in their relationship and truly grow together. Congrats you TWO!!!!
And about their wedding: I was so impressed with Lesleigh’s style. She used to be a baker so of course she had the most appealing cakes that matched everything completely. Everything was in vintage decor including the get away car at the end. Since Jeff is in the production business, the couple opted out of the traditional DJ for the reception and went with a local band, Whisky Pants. These guys rocked out!! I was truly impressed when they broke out into some Violent Femmes and The Cure tunes. What a beautiful night from beginning to end!! Special thanks to Brian Dougher who second shot this one with me. Brian was able to use his magic with some old film cameras that added something really cool to this couple’s day. Thanks BRIAN!!!
